In school, Flora’s social circles cast a wide and shallow net. Her childhood was rather sheltered, and clubs were primarily a way for her to try something new, although she did make a variety of acquaintances as a result. She's genuinely friendly, only if because she remembers what it's like to not have any older siblings or friends, and makes herself available to others for advice/general companionship - a trait that has carried on after school. The problem is that anything more than superficial makes Flora want to run, and only a few people have managed to get past that barrier. She can be a very flighty and noncommittal friend when things get too hard, but she certainly can remember to ask about how your cat's transplant last weekend went.
A consequence of being overly friendly is that Flora doesn't tend to think her words through very carefully before she blurts them out. She lacks tact and finesse and aims to fill the gap with over-enthusiasm, which isn't always well received. She jumps quickly to conclusions and can be downright rude if she thinks you have done something to hurt someone she cares about. Flora has also got a bit of a snob in her, despite her house's best efforts to crush it out of her, she still has an air of superiority about her that she doesn't like disturbed.
Lovers are few and far between. Flora gravitates towards people are who are unconventional, and the flame tends to burn bright and fast. She has a hard time committing to one person, mostly because she gets bored easily. People who capture her attention are not necessarily always good for her. At this junction in time, she has put love on the back-burner, but doesn't it always come when you least expect it?
